Something must not be set up right on your Reaper config, if I have a project at 140 BPM, for example, the grooves play (start and stop) at 140 BPM.

If I load this software into a project, the grooves are perfectly synced with the starting and stopping. I think you have something weird in your Reaper configuration then because I have no problems that you describe. Maybe look into your timebase settings in your default project settings. If it cannot then so be it I think you have something weird in your Reaper configuration then because I have no problems that you describe. It has been mentioned here but not answered. I like the sound but has anyone come up with a way to sync it to start/stop? The grooves I mean. My first foray into using drums in this way. All is now well with this kit on both PCs.

I did the same on my offline PC, using the online PC to get the activation number, with no problems, other than the crashes I reported earlier in this thread. I got a number back and entered this in the kit activation window in REAPER. I entered this when I got to the page from the website's activation link on the support page, and clicked on the button in German. No probs to transfer these numbers to another comp? When I opened the kit for the first in REAPER I got an activation window which gave me the 'computer ID', just a five-figure number. I made up a comp id from their link, pressed the button and got a key. Tommy V how do i change the bpm in this thing.ive got a vocal trck and i want create a drum beat but my beat is too fast for my track. * Kick - chl 1 - center panned * Snare/Sidestick - ch2 - hard pan L/R * HiHat-cl/HiHat-op - ch3 - hard pan L/R * Hi Tom/Mid Tom - ch4 - hard pan L/R * Low Tom/Ride - ch5 - hard pan L/R * Ride Bell/Crash L - ch6 - hard pan L/R * Crash R/China - ch 7 - hard pan L/R After recording, simply explode each item to new one-channel items, where they will now be in mono. Jeff: I just tried this for separating the 13 components, using only 7 of the 8 outs, by combining them in pairs and hard panning L/R within each pair. Is there any way to get it to start/stop in sync? Thanks Richie for the Track Template.

Doesn't sync up with the DAW, though (although it does pick up the BPM).

Nice drum VSTi - crisp clean sounds - low CPU (.2% here!) - uncomplicated, easy to use GUI. Cakewalk Session Drummer sounds muffled, EZD(1) way too dark, BFD(eco) the same, liked AD(1) but there was something 'missing', really liking AD(2) and use it a lot, JamStix is great for composition, but the kit sounds are lacking something, and it's way complicated to set up. The MT Power Drum Kit is a new drum sampler offering the powerful. All sounded abysmal, but they were drums for me to jam to I long for those days where I could just fire up the Casio, find a suitable rhythm, then jam out on it. In the old days of PortaStudio-244 my drums would come from a SynSonics, then a Casio MT-205, then from a SoundBlaster powered by Voyetra Sequencer-Plus. I'm a guitarist with only rudimentary skills in MIDI, but I like good sounding drums. Some limitations, yes, but I see that as an asset rather than otherwise, uncomplicated, and the 'new' price can't be beat. Same here, although I'm a night owl anyways Aside from our technical issues re:MT-Drums, we can agree that this is one nice piece of easy to use good sounding drums software. I bought the metal pak last, & it came with "Neil" (which is modeled after Neil Peart obviously), "Lars", & a few more.Īgain, it does take some time, but the results can be quite good IMHO.Quote: Sheesh, I've been up WAY too long. Jamstix comes with around 12-13 different "drummers", but you can also buy other drummers with their different expansion packs. This is why I usually just have Jamstix to send the midi to another drum program like Superior, because the sounds are so much better from the get-go, & don't take as much work/time to get 'em sounding better. The kits/sounds that come with Jamstix aren't that good, to me, they sound like something I recorded in my bedroom/garage, but with some work, could sound pretty decent. I use Jamstix 3 for my "drummers", triggering different VSTI's like Superior Drummer & Steven Slate Drums for the sounds. It's a very deep, complicated program (for me anyway), & will most likely have a pretty steep learning curve (again, it did for me anyway, I'm still learning it), but the results can be pretty good IMO.
